Travel Berkey Water Filter: Your Trusted Travel Companion
The Travel Berkey is the small stainless system — about 1.5 gallons — that we used as a couple and still pack for hotel taps. Product: Travel Berkey.
Gravity elements reduce a long list of chemicals in municipally treated tap water. Shop sizes: all systems.

Is It Right for Your Family?
Fridge pitchers did not cut the chlorine and metals we cared about. Two adults in a townhouse: 1.5 gallons and an 18-inch height fit the counter. After a second child we moved to a bigger model and kept this one for trips.
More Uses
Cabin or hotel: fill from the room tap if it is city-treated. Campground tap that is park/city water is the same idea. A summer house on municipal service works. Sports sidelines: fill from a building tap, not a ditch.
Do not use untreated well or surface water. Well chemicals are a different article: well-water filter guide (test first; Berkey is not the bacteria plan).
Specs
Polished stainless. Assembled 18" × 7.5". Nested about 12". 1.5 gallons. Two chambers. Two elements. Official replacements: Phoenix.

What Owners Say
Reviews that talk about hotel and kitchen tap use match how we sell it. Camping how-to that is about boiling surface water is a different product class — not this page’s claim.
Small Families
One to three people at home, or a larger family that already owns a Big/Royal and wants a travel unit. Fifteen years later we still pack ours. Product page.
