This system comes complete with a Berkey Light base and two or four Black Berkey filter elements.

The Berkey Light® system is designed for use at home, outdoors, while traveling, and during unexpected emergencies.

While it may look different, it's still just as powerful as all the Berkey filtration systems.

It cleans toxins from both treated and untreated water (lakes, rivers, ponds, etc.).

Taking a trip to a foreign country? The Berkey Light® is great for filtering water from other nations, where regulations can at times be substandard at best. Not to mention areas where electricity and water pressure can be scarce.

The Berkey Light® is a great option for an average-sized family. It a storage capacity of 2.75 gallons and it stands 26.5 inches in height with a diameter of 9 inches. The base is included but when used without the base, the system stands 21 inches tall.

It includes two Black Berkey® filter elements and the system can purify over 4 Gallons (~15 liters) per hour.

This system can be expanded to use four purification elements and is capable of purifying up to 8 Gallons (~30 liters) per hour.

In addition, this system can filter out fluoride and arsenic with the Berkey PF2 elements which attach to the bottom of the Black elements. These fluoride elements are not included with the system, but are a great addition for the cleanest water available.
