The Crown Berkey system is the ideal system for use with medium to large groups, at home, churches, hospitals orphanages, outdoor activities or during unexpected emergencies.
The Red Cross and missionaries have been using this system for many years.
This powerful filter purifies both treated water and untreated raw water from such sources as remote lakes, streams, stagnant ponds and water supplies in foreign countries, where regulations may be substandard at best.
Perfect for outdoor activities and a must in hostile environments where electricity, water pressure or treated water may not be available.
What Does the Crown Berkey System Filter?
The Crown Berkey system removes viruses, pathogenic bacteria, cysts, and parasites and extracts harmful chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, VOCs, organic solvents, radon 222 and trihalomethanes.
It also reduces unhealthy heavy metals such as lead and mercury. This system is so powerful it can eliminate food coloring from water without removing the beneficial minerals your body needs.
Virtually no other system can duplicate this performance.
What Does The Crown System Come With?
You can get the Crown Berkey with two filters and expand all the way to eight.
It has a capacity of holding up to six gallons with a purification speed of six to twenty four gallons per hour. Obviously the more filters you have the quicker it will be.
When configured with eight Black Berkey purification elements can purify up to 650 gallons per day (27 gallons per hour) when the upper chamber is full.

I don’t know how many times I’ve been at a church function at a park or elsewhere and they provided water from a hose or some other unclean source.
The Crown Berkey system is a low cost way of providing clean water that should fit right into the next church budget.
