How About Clean Water In The USA?

There are so many clean water charities in the United States it’s sort of unbelievable. It is true that Americans provide a lot of money and assistance to less fortunate countries all across the world and that is a great thing.

Missionaries and the Red Cross have been providing clean water for underdeveloped area for decades. I am all for this endeavor and it is needed especially when many other countries around the world don’t do a thing to help their neighbors out.

But then we take a look in our own backyard and the water isn’t as clean as you think it is. Tax dollars flood city governments to provide clean water and they do clean it up to an extent but not thorough enough.

They dump toxic chlorine and fluoride into the water supply and don’t filter out all of the nasty pharmaceuticals, pathogenic bacteria, mercury and other heavy metals and toxins out. Why not you ask? I really don’t have an answer for you. I’m sure they’d tell you that it’s not part of their budget.

If we took just a portion of the dollars that go to these wealthy charities and used it at home, we would have clean water too. You should really think about researching how you can take it into your own hands and provide this precious thing for yourself and your family.

There are some excellent water filter systems that you could make a small investment in to get the job done. We’re not talking about thousands of dollars here. A couple hundred dollars or less and you can have clean water day after day.

How about splitting your charity costs? Give half to your normal charities that provide for people around the world and take the other half each month to provide healthy drinking water for yourself, you extended family members and your neighbors too. Sounds like a plan to me!
