I am actually quite amazed after doing my research. I wanted to find out what was out there in regards to a camping water filter that actually works and is affordable. I found many that were not only outrageously expensive but they also didn’t filter out much of anything.

I went to the top sites on the subject and here is what I found. Many of them only advertised that they filtered out bacteria and nothing else. They had all sorts of gadgets and pumps that costs a whopping $600! You can’t be serious!

First, I discovered a squeeze water bottle which filters out absolutely everything. It eliminates 99.9% of all pathogenic bacteria, toxic chemicals such as trihalomethanes, VOCs and pesticides. It even gets rid of Radon 222. What about all heavy metals like aluminum, copper, lead and mercury? Yes, you can say good bye to those too.

One great feature is that it filters out sediment, dirt and silt with no problem. That means I can put stream or river water in it and be fine. It is quite affordable too. Now, if you’re camping for a few days, this company has portable water purifiers that are perfect for families and filter out all the same stuff. Plus, you can filter out fluoride too.
